PERFORMANCE
‘Ascension Dance produces work that unifies contemporary dance and a raw physicality to create visceral and striking visual illustrations. With a keen focus on human interactions and relationships, Ascension Dance pushes the boundaries of communication through high velocity physical encounters, which soar, slide and crash in the pursuit of unravelling what it means to connect with the places and humans around us.
ASCENSION YOUTH
Committed to providing engaging and physical experiences through movement, Ascension Youth is for every young person excited by dance and movement. Experience our unique style of contemporary dance weaved with elements of breakdance and parkour.
COMMUNITY
As a company born out of friendships and shared interest, we are committed to providing the same opportunities for friendships and participation to our young people. From GCSE dance workshops to movement direction for theatre, we at Ascension are keen to facilitate connections between people within there local community. We feel participating and moving together in disciplines such as parkour and dance provides the perfect environment for connection.
