Ashley Jordan (AJ)
Company Director
AJ is on the teaching team for Ascension Youth.
Ashley studied at the University of Chichester where he was awarded a Masters (MA) in Dance Performance and a BA (hons) in Dance. Ashley was nominated for the Rising Star award at the Coventry and Warwickshire Tourism and Culture Awards 2017. Having previous training in parkour, freerunning and gymnastics, Ashley is keen to explore how these disciples can be combined with dance to create choreography. He is passionate about extending dance opportunities to young people, particularly in nurturing an interest for dance in boys and young men.
Ben Morley
Deputy Director
Ben is on the teaching team for Ascension Youth.
Ben studied at Coventry University graduating with a BA (hons) Degree in Dance, where he trained in contemporary dance technique, choreography and workshop leadership. In 2016 he was awarded the 'Rising Star' award at the Coventry and Warwickshire Tourism and Culture Awards. With a background in trampolining and parkour, he is interested in how contemporary dance can be entwined with other movement styles to develop a new physical language.
