‘Males ♂♂’ is a dance piece about two male friends. Focusing on notions of masculinity, sensitivity, friendship and race relationships in a time where the UK seems to be is becoming more and more divided. As a physical exploration of sensitivity and support, Males ♂♂ challenges the stigma attached to hugging, touching and emotional connection between men. When can a man be sensitive? Is showing your emotions a declaration of weakness?
